What stops stores from ranking
-
01
Filter URLs flood the index
Faceted filters create endless thin URL combinations that waste crawl budget and split rankings.
-
02
Missing or broken schema
Product and offer data is missing or invalid, so price and stock do not show in search results.
-
03
Duplicate content
Variations, tag pages, sorting parameters and pagination create many copies of the same page.
-
04
Dead product URLs
Deleted products return 404 errors and lose their links, and out-of-stock pages are handled differently each time.
-
05
Slow templates
Poor Core Web Vitals on category and product pages hold rankings back on mobile.
-
06
Traffic lost after a relaunch
A redesign or platform move without a redirect map throws away rankings built over years.

SEO FAQ
Technical SEO questions we hear from WooCommerce teams.
What do your WooCommerce SEO services include?
Technical implementation: product schema, faceted filter indexing, canonicals, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals and redirects. We do not write content or build links, but we work with teams who do.
Should filter pages be indexed?
Only the combinations people actually search for, such as brand plus category. The rest should stay out of the index so Google spends its crawl on pages that can rank.
Are Yoast or Rank Math enough for WooCommerce?
They handle titles, sitemaps and basic schema well. Variant schema, filters, pagination and speed usually need custom work.
How do I keep rankings when I change platform?
Map every indexed URL to its new address with a 301 redirect, keep titles and content, and move structured data. We do this in every migration we run.
Why does Google not show my product prices and stock?
Usually the Product schema is missing required fields, or two plugins output conflicting markup. We fix the markup and validate it in the Rich Results Test.
How soon will I see results?
Fixes go live within weeks, but Google needs time to recrawl. Changes in indexing and rich results usually show in Search Console within a few weeks to a few months.
