What to expect from an audit and what happens after.
What does a WordPress code audit include?
A review of theme and plugin code, security, performance, WooCommerce flows and technical SEO. You get a report ranked by risk with effort estimates.
How long does an audit take?
A quick audit takes 3-5 days, a full code audit 1-2 weeks and a pre-rebuild audit 2-3 weeks.
Will the audit affect our live site?
No. We work on a staging copy or with read-only access.
Do we have to hire you to fix the issues?
No. The report is written so any developer can use it. If you want us to fix them, you get a fixed quote.
Should we rebuild or repair our site?
It depends on the code, not the age of the site. The pre-rebuild audit compares both options with real costs.
What access do you need?
Ideally a staging copy, the code repository and read-only admin access. We sign an NDA before access if you need one.
