The case in short

  1. Challenge

    The credit unions had old websites with an outdated design, limited features and weak security. SEO settings could not be added.

  2. Solution

    We designed and built 54 new WordPress websites, moved the content from the old sites and added a flexible loan calculator.

  3. Result

    All 54 websites were delivered to the technical specification. The sites score 96 in Google PageSpeed on mobile.

About the client

A network of credit unions in Ukraine. Their old websites were built years ago and no longer met their needs.

The challenge

The client had websites that were built years ago. The design was outdated, the features were limited, security was not reliable and there was no way to set up SEO.

The task was to build new websites to replace the old ones and move the content across. The new sites needed proper security, SEO settings and a defined list of features.

What we built

  • Loan calculator. Convenient calculation of loan programs.
  • NBU section. A user-friendly section with the key information the NBU requires from financial institutions.
  • Member access. Individual access to website sections for members of the associations.
  • Events by date. Past and upcoming events are shown automatically based on their dates.
  • Self-service editing. The client can develop and improve the websites further without developers.
  • Accessibility settings. Font size controls and a monochrome image mode.

The result

The client received 54 new websites with all features from the technical specification.

We also ran training webinars on how to use the websites and what the new platform can do.

Loan program calculator

The calculator supports 15+ types of calculation, so each credit union can create many variations of its loan programs.

NBU disclosure section

A special section shows the key information that the National Bank of Ukraine requires from financial institutions, in a clear format.

Members-only content

Members of the associations get individual access to selected sections of the website.

Accessibility settings

Visitors can change the font size and switch images to monochrome.
